Jersey City
Much has changed here. While I was growing up, Jersey City was known for its high crime rate, and rough "gritty" exterior. As can be seen from these images, that rough edge has been honed down to a fine gloss.
Jersey City is truly "The Shining City", with the ongoing development on the Waterfront, the impressive skyline and the gentrification of its once tough neighborhoods.
Whether admiring the majesty of the Goldman Sachs Tower, the whimsy of the Colgate Clock, or standing in awe at historical Ellis Island while gazing at "The Lady"...Jersey City is a wonderful representative of the Garden State.
