We recently had the opportunity to photograph former NJ Governor Florio and his lovely wife Lucinda in their home in Metuchen. Not only were we invited into their home, but they were extremely gracious and an absolute joy to photograph.
From the manner in which they behaved with each other it was apparent they were totally devoted to one another. Some cynics might say this was simply their public persona, but I believe they were totally genuine.
At the conclusion of the session, Governor Florio thanked us for photographing them. I would like to return the favor and thank Governor Florio for allowing us to the privilege. Oftentimes the public only sees one side of a prominent figure and forgets that they too are very human.
Governor Jim Florio and his wife Lucinda are warm, caring and very down-to-earth, and I believe these images reflect that.
